Bullet Items I add to my cart don't show up when I go to purchase them Explanation
The shopping cart relies extensively on "cookies" to store the products you have placed in your cart. If you disable cookies with your web browser, it won't be able to do this and will attempt to use your IP address to remember the information. If the cart is unable to use cookies with your computer, and there is some reason it is unable to use your IP address, you will keep getting an empty cart.

Solution
Make sure you allow cookies in your web browser. In Internet Explorer 6, click Tools, Internet Options, Privacy. Chose a security level that allows cookies (e.g. Medium High) . The High setting will not allow cookies.
Under Internet Explorer 5, click Tools, Internet Options, Security. Scroll through the list until you find Cookies. Select Enable/Allow Cookies
